Thesis Statement
Nathuram Godse was motivated to assassinate Gandhi by a Hindu extremist group, which believed that Gandhi emphasis of nonviolence and influence on Indian politicswere damaging to the country.
I think your thesis statement is very good and seems to answer a specific question. However, make sure that your thesis maps out what your essay or paragraphs would be about. For example, "Nathuram Godse was motivated to assassinate Gandhi by a Hindu extremist group, __________, and ____________ (other groups/people)" or Nathuram Godse was motivated to assassinate Gandhi by a Hindu extremist group for ___________, _____________, and _______________ reasons." Also, I believe you meant to say "Gandhi's" and "politics were".
