The Rwandan Genocide escalated in part due to it's lack of strategic
importance to the United Nations, the United States, and France.
Your thesis makes it sound like that what you said is the only reason that the genocide escalated. Could there have been other issues? Include more in the sentence. Otherwise, your topic sounds quick interesting and you structured your thesis quite well. Just add some more information.
