Thesis Statement
The Abbasid Caliphate experienced boundless growth in both the sciences and in art, fostered primarily by the dynamic and pervasive leadership of the Empire throughout the Islamic Golden Age.
This is a great thesis statement, but you can substitute the word "during" with the word "throughout" to emphasis the changing times of the Golden Age of Islam.
This is a great thesis and the descriptive word choice really helps the reader to get a good picture of the topic. You might want to include the three main topics that you are going to focus on to help provide structure for your outline later on.
